I just couldn't do it, the weirdness at the beginning totally turned me off to the rest of the book.

Great book with difficult-to-implement advice.
5 stars
Absolutely astounding how much of this book resonated with me and how generally validated it feels that I had several of these thoughts even before reading this book based on my other experiences.
One thing I wish could have been a little bit better is that the chapter on practical advice for implementing the ideas could have been a little stronger - but I guess there are other entire books dedicated to the topic of “getting senior executives to agree with you that this is even a problem”.

Blood Lords off to a great start.

I actually really enjoyed reading this adventure path - it's pretty refreshing to see an AP set in Geb, and making the Lawful Evil necromancer Blood Lord who is your patron also be an extremely cheerful chef was a nice touch.
Likewise, with mild spoilers, one of the other major NPCs pretty masterfully blends his enjoyment of great culinary excellence with sadomasochism without being overly gruesome. Hard to achieve that kind of balance.
